The away fans at Burnley are located in the David Fishwick Stand. The normal allocation is 2,100 although for cup games or if your demand warrants, then 4,125 seats are made available. The facilities in the stand are basic and dated... rickety turnstiles, wooden seating etc... a proper football ground.
The atmosphere can be good, with the Burnley fans in good voice on their day and Burnley itself makes for a decent 'retro' football away trip. With Blackpool down the road, there is also the opportunity to make a weekend of it.
If you are coming in by coach then be aware it is normal practice to be escorted all the way from the motorway into the stadium.

The Queen Victoria is an away friendly pub located around a 10 minute walk away from Turf Moor. The pub is a Brewers Fayre, so if you are looking for somewhere to get a bite to eat before the game then this would be a good place to head.

Walkabout is around a 5 minute walk from Burnley Central Rail Station and is a lively pub in the centre of town. Showing all the sports and with reasonably priced beer, it tends not to be too busy on a matchday so a good option if you want to stay away from the crowds. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to Turf Moor from here.

The Boot Inn is the local Wetherspoons outlet and situated a short step from Turf Moor. It is a large pub serving their normal cheap beer from 8am in the morning.
This pub can become quite partisan with home supporters so use your discretion. |
Rail: Both Burnley Central and Burnley Manchester Road are within easy walking distance of Turf Moor. If you are drinking within town then you might want to stop at Central, which is a 20 minute walk to the ground.
Burnley Manchester Road is 15 minutes walk away and is served by the more local express services.
Leave the M6 at Junction 29 and onto the M65. Leave the M65 at Junction 10 and follow signs for Towneley Hall. Follow this road and you will eventually go past Turf Moor.
There is a car park at the cricket ground by Turf Moor which costs £6. Alternatively there is secure parking on Doris Street, which is off Belverdere Road around 5 minutes walk from the stadium.
There is also plenty of street parking if you get there early enough.
