Chelsea - Stamford Bridge |
 |
Stamford Bridge is home to one of the wealthiest football clubs in the world, although you might not believe it looking at the stadium, although it is still impressive and much more fan friendly than the pre Taylor Report days.
The away section of Stamford Bridge is very clean and modern. Away supporters are normally housed in the South-East corner of the famous Shed End, which holds around 3000 fans. This can be increased to 4500 for Cup games.
People have reported that Stewards tend to refuse entry to latecomers, so it is probably best to get to the ground in plenty of time. They serve beer inside so why not take advantage of that.
The atmosphere inside is mixed and at times you can see that Chelsea have suffered from th Corporate focus which has changed our game in recent years.
