Away fans are located in the Rink End stand at one end of the ground which holds 967 fans. The acoustics are decent and if you fill the stand you can really make a noise. One thing to remember, especially in the winter is that the away stands name of Rink End is quite apt, because it can be bloody freezing when the wind comes in off the north sea.

This is popular pub with away fans visiting Hartlepool. It's not too far from the ground, situated on the marina. It's across the road from Asda, close to the old sailing ship and serves decent food and beer. Check their website for more information.

This is a typical backstreet boozer close to the train station and around a 10 minute walk to the stadium. It's a no thrills establishment, a drinkers pub, hence you won't find much in the way of food here. There is a pool table and the pub is open from midday. |
Rail: Most rail journeys to Hartlepool require you to change at Thornaby ( Stockton-on-Tees ) . The stadium is about a ten minute walk from the station. Exit the station on Church Street and turn right into Church Square. Follow the road out of Church Square and you should already see the floodlights. Cross over on the A179 and hook a right into Clarence Road.
From the North (A19):
Exit the A19 the Hartlepool (A179) slip road and turn left onto the A179. Follow the signs to Hartlepool for 1.3 miles, passing over two roundabouts. At third roundabout turn right (which is signposted Town Centre, Docks A179) onto Easington Road.
Follow Town Centre A179 signs for 1.5 miles over two roundabouts. At third roundabout (the roundabout with the big balls!) turn right onto Marina Way. Turn right and then left at the lights into Clarence Road to the ground.
From the South (A19):
Exit the A19 at signpost Hartlepool A689, Motorway A1(M). At roundabout turn right (which is signposted to Hartlepool A689) and continue on the A689 for 4.3 miles, through the village of Newton Bewley, to the roundabout by the Owton Lodge pub. Go straight on (s/p Town Centre A689) and follow Town Centre signs for 2.8 miles, over two roundabouts.
At the traffic lights just past the Blacksmiths Arms on your left, go straight on. At the next traffic lights go straight on again over the bridge into the new marina complex and straight on again at the roundabout into Marina Way.
Continue to the next roundabout and turn left (signposted The North A179, A1048). Turn left at the lights into Clarence Road to the ground.
There is a car park behind the Mill House Stand and also street parking around the Raby Road area. The club remind you to keep valuables out of sight!
