The Northcote, 110 Grove Green Road, E10 6PN
Tel: ?
The Northcote is a small pub with a friendly vibe to it, they show sports on the big screen and it's close to Leyton Orients ground. To find it, turn right out of the tube station and right again into Grove Green Road. The pub is at the bottom of the hill at the first main junction. |
Rail: The nearest tube station to Brisbane Road is Leyton which is a 5 minute walk away and served by the Central Line. Coming out of the station turn right along Leyton High Road. You will come to Coronation Gardens gardens where you will see the stadium, take the next left to take you to Brisbane Road.
From North: Exit M25 at junction 27 and follow signs to `London (NE), M11' onto the M11 southbound.
After 7.1 miles where the road divides, bear right (s/p A406 N. Circ. Rd West, London N and W) onto the North Circular Road.
Keep in left hand lanes and take first exit after 0.6 miles (s/p Walthamstow and City A104, then Whipps Cross A104, West End (A503)).
At roundabout turn left (s/p Whipps Cross, Bakers Arms, Walthamstow A503) into Woodford New Road A104. At next roundabout (Whipps Cross) after 1.2 miles, take 2nd exit (s/p A104 Bakers Arms, Leyton) and follow road round to left, towards BP station, into Lea Bridge Road.
After 0.5 miles, just after Esso station, turn left at lights (s/p Leyton, Stratford, then Leyton Leisure Lagoon) into Leyton Green Road.
Filter left after 0.3 miles and turn left at T-junction into Leyton High Road. After 1.2 miles ground is down sidestreets on RHS.
From South/South-East via Blackwall Tunnel: Out of tunnel, continue on A102 following signs to `Stratford, Dalston'. Remain on the A102/A106 for 4.2 miles, following signs for Leyton, passing New Spitalfields Market and over a bridge.
At lights just after Car Superstore, turn left into Oliver Road. From the M11 take the southbound carriageway for about 6 miles from the M25 and take the right fork signposted for the North Circular.
At the bottom of the flyover where the roads merge, move into the left-hand lane and turn left at the roundabout on to the A104. After about 1 mile at the next roundabout take the right exit - still the A104 (a landmark here is the quaintly-decorated Lamb's Cafe). Half a mile further on, turn left into Leyton Green Road (signposted to Leyton and Stratford), and left again into a short slip-road past the bus garage entrance and left into Leyton High Road - you'll see the Leyton Leisure Lagoon opposite as you wait to make the turn. Continue until you see the floodlights for the stadium.
There is street parking in the area, although we advise you to check the street you are parking in as there is residents parking in the area which may mean you will be towed away of you park in them!
Parking near Leyton Orient is generally street parking. Check for any restrictions before leaving your vehicle.
