Oldham Athletic FC - Boundary Park |
 |
The away allocation at Boundary Park is in the Rochdale Road End. The stand is split in two, one part of the stand holds 3,000 and the other half around 1,600. Depending on the size of your support will decide which allocation your club gets. The facilities and atmosphere at Boundary Park are decent and as with most stands shared with home fans, the banter can be great.
A day out in Oldham is generally a friendly one and you shouldn't find too much aggro... unless you support Manchester United!

The Rifle Range, 372 Burnley Lane, OL1 2QP
Tel: 0161 6265543
The Rifle Range is around a 10 minute walk from Boundary Park and comes reccommended as being away friendly. It has a family room, TV's around, decent food and reasonable beer.
One Oldham fan described it as "Cracking Barmaids with tremendous nellies!" , so I guess on that review alone it's worth a visit.

The Clayton Green, Chadderton Way, Oldham, OL1 2NA
Tel: 0161 621 2720
The Clayton is the closest pub to Boundary Park, just 200 yards from the Main Stand and is a Brewers Fayre establishment. It serves decent food and allows away fans in.

The Greyhound, 1 Elly Clough, Holden Fold, OL2 5ES
Tel: 0161 6244504
The Greyhhound is another pub which is a reasonable distance from Boundary Park and allows away fans in. It is a 20 minute walk to the stadium but you can leave your car/minibus at the pub if you wish. Handy if you want to let the traffic clear whilst having a pint after the game!

Rail: Due to engineering works etc, Oldham is a right pain in the arse to get to, Oldham Mill Hills being the closest but a 30 minute walk away from Boundary Park!
Bus: Due to the problems with trains you might want to get a bus from Manchester Piccadilly. Services 24, 181 and 182 all head to Oldham and right past the ground and will take you around 25 minutes. They come every 10 minutes on Saturdays and every 20 minutes on weekday evenings.
FROM M62: Leave motorway at junction 20 (signposted Rochdale, Oldham). Follow A627(M) towards Oldham, and leave motorway at second junction with PC World on your left(signposted A627). The ground is clearly visible from the roundabout.
For the main entrance, take the second exit at the roundabout before turning left at the traffic lights just after the Pentagon Vauxhall dealership. Follow the road straight over the first mini-roundabout, then turn left at the next mini-roundabout.
From M60: Leave motorway at junction 21, then follow signs for Oldham and pass McDonald's on your left. Continue through several sets of traffic lights and down Broadway (40mph limit enforced by static speed cameras) before branching left up the slip road just before the start of the A627(M).
There is a large Club car park which is situated behind the Lookers Stand. The cost is Cars £5, minibus £10, coaches £15.
There is limited street parking available.
