Away fans at the Madejski Stadium are located in the Fosters Lager South Stand, where the normal allocation is 2,100, increasing to 4,300 should your support warrant it. The atmosphere is generally good from this stand and alot of noise can be made from the visiting support.
The main problem with a trip here is the pre and post match entertainment. It's a few miles from the train station and a few miles from the decent pubs. There is a shuttle bus that runs to the Madejski from the town centre, but it will waste you valuable drinking time!

Public Transport
Rail: Reading station is 3 miles from the Madejski Stadium, you can either get a taxi to the ground ( about a fiver if the traffic is clear ) or get the number 79 football special. Please note though, if your support has been playing up on the way there, they won't give you a lift back... and you'll end up with a 3 mile walking Police escort back to the train station!
Directions
Leave the M4 at Junction 11 and you cannot miss the stadium, as you come off the motorway, you will see the stadium on your left.
Parking
There is a massive Car Park at the Madejski Stadium, and very little else around in the area. Be aware though, it will take you an age to get out after the game.
Alternative parking would be in Reading and use the shuttle bus or street parking on Imperial Way. There are a few Industrial Units in the area that also offer parking for between £5 and £10.

Very good view of play. The food inside is fine, but outside ground is not many burger vans etc... if you're a fan who likes to sing the atmosphere is poor from home fans and only one small corner (top-right from away stand) sing.
