Tottenham Hotspur FC - White Hart Lane

Away fans at White Hart Lane are allocated 3,000 tickets in the South West corner, split between Upper and Lower tiers. There is very little segregation between the away fans and the local which makes for great banter, having said that, it is not uncommon for heavy handed policing and stewarding. They certainly seem to take a much tougher stance with the away supporters than they do with their own.

There are not too many pubs close to the ground that are welcoming for away fans and White Hart Lane is quite a step from the nearest tube. Having said that, it's a nice stadium and it's in London. Which can make for a fun weekender.

The Three Compasses is a nice pub around a 10 minute walk away from White Hart Lane, probably more down your street if you are in a small group and not out on the beers with the lads.

The pub is situated behind Middlesex University.

If you are coming in via the overland train at White Hart Lane, then you might want to give this place ago, which allows away fans in. As well as getting a relatively cheap pint, it also boasts 2 large bars which have Sky Sports. You can also park your car/minibus there for a reasonable £10.

Hamilton Hall, Liverpool Street Station, Greater London, EC2M 7PY

If you are travelling to White Hart Lane by train, then the overland station you will use is Liverpool Street. Inside this station on street level is a rather handy Wetherspoons Pub. The pub opens at 7am for the earlybirds.

It is only a couple of stops and a few minutes to White Hart Lane from Liverpool street, and plenty of trains run there.

 Public Transport

Rail: The nearest train station is White Hart Lane and is about a 10 minute walk from the stadium. Trains run from both Seven Sisters and Tottenham Hale station to Liverpool Street and take about 20 minutes. Northumberland Park station is also within reasonable distance of White Hart Lane and is about a 10 minute walk to the stadium.

Underground: Seven Sisters on the Victoria Line is a 20 minute walk to White Hart Lane and Tottenham Hale, also on the Victoria Line, is also a 20 minute walk.

Bus: There are plenty of buses which head back to Seven Sisters up Tottenham High Road, 149,259 and 279 being the main ones. Remember if you have a travel card you can jump on one for free to save you the walk back to the station.

 Directions

Leaving the M25 at Junction 25, take the A10 towards Enfield. At the roundabout turn left into the North Circular ( A406 ) Sterling Way. Turn right onto the A1010 Fore Road, which becomes High Road. Continue on the road and you will see the ground on your left.

 Parking

There is no street parking within easy walk of the stadium, as you would expect for London. The nearest street parking is more than a mile away, which leaves you at the mercy of the local private car parks, which can charge up to £15 each, knowing that you have little alternative. Remember you are in London, don't park your car/minibus somewhere it shouldn't be or it won't be there when you get back after the game!
